The Blessing of God
Blameless – The blessing of God rests upon those who set out on a path to follow God’s revelations. Seeking Him with all your heart is requires integrity.
An Abomination to the LORD
Perverse Heart – Living a twisted, distorted and or crooked life spiritually influenced toward evil disgusts God (Prov 11:20). A blameless life pleases Him.
Security in Life
Righteousness – (Law and Order) is like a fortress that protects people of integrity (Prov 13:6). Wickedness perverts, ruins, and overturns the sinner.
Life Lessons – (1) God has expectations for Christians. He wants them to strive for a life of charity toward all men with an inward purity of our hearts, resulting from a love of one another and all men that increases to the point of overflowing in abundance (1 Thess. 3:12-13). (2) Increasing in the selfless devotion to others is always a need for Christians. Jesus’ love for Christians is the standard by which we are to love one another. The world will come to know and understand that you are His disciple, by your good will and benevolence (brotherly love) toward one another (John 13:34-35). (3) God will firmly establish (strengthen, fix, make constant, and confirm) your heart (fountain and seat of thoughts, passions, desires, appetites, affections, purposes, endeavors, intelligence) to an overflow of love, by granting you inner strength to turn away from selfish motives and behavior that turn you away from the Father and Son.
